JCDecaux OneWorld is the international department of JCDecaux, the world’s largest out-of-home media company. The brief was to develop a visual identity which could translate across current and future online and offline channels.

Overview
Developing a distinctive brand identity
After the initial conceptual phase, we created a large set of assets including presentations and print templates, a library of graphics with different covers and characters, showreels, guides and a comprehensive set of branding guidelines. All templates were designed to be highly customisable, allowing users to change branding colours and other features with ease and leaving space for them to be turned into interactive documents.

Approach
Elegant contemporary design
The style is characterised by angular lines with soft gradients, it is modern yet elegant representing JCDecaux’s legacy whilst expressing its innovative style and forward-thinking approach. The brand allows a choice of illustrative templates and an equivalent in a photographical style. The characters within the illustrations are stylised by elongated bodies and minimal detail to create a clean and unified theme.
